With the majority of the funding for the shop in place, construction re-commenced in October. On October 3rd., Delkron Construction from Guelph commenced the erection of the steel. Work had to stop early when the rain and lightning started. The inside of the building was a little wet but work continued.

 

On October 19 the insulation, siding and roofing commenced.

 

On October 25th., with good weather all day, we finally spiked 180' of track 21 north of the shop. A good day was had by all who attended the session. A barbeque lunch supplied by Al and Carson was also appreciated by all. Thanks to Al for being the chef of the day.
