British Railways [BR1 60010 (4-6-2)], known as "Dominion of Canada", built in 1937 by London North Eastern Railway Co. [Doncaster Works], s/n 1854, (ex. LNER 4489 & ex. LNER 10) A4 Pacific Class, was transferred from British Railways Board to CRHA (EXPORAIL) in 1967. On this photo, she was seen on August 31, 2012, at EXPORAIL, loaded on QTTX 131344 and all set to go for a 2-year to York, England. CN 30, the EXPORAIL GE 70ton road switcher, pushed BR 60010 and her tender (here only used as a "buffer") on the flat car. |
