VIA 1751 Observation Business Car "Pavilion"
  • During its long lifespan, this car has belonged to eight different owners, including a private owner who named it after the city of Memphis, and BC Rail, where it was dubbed "Pavilion".
  • When it was built in 1939, the car was known as the "Biscayne Bay".
  • The Pavilion car was acquired by VIA Rail as part of a larger transaction, but remains inactive. It is currently stored at the Montréal Maintenance Centre.
