128 80055 2   3, 7/1952 Texas Co.(Texaco)   22   One of two Texas Company (Texaco) S3 switchers, number 22 stands with it's front door wide open, whiles away a sunny Saturday morning on a dead end siding just off the BNSF yard tracks in Burlington. S3's 21 and 22 were built in 1951 and 1952 and were the only S3's purchased by Texaco. I wasn't able to tell if this engine was still operational, but it looks like it has seen better days. On the East side of Lake Winnipesaukee, the Wolfboro Railroad ran for a few years on the old B&M Wolfboro Branch. A 2-6-0 and this S4 were the primary power. Now all of the Wolfboro Assets are on the HOBO Railroad.
