Canadian Pacific Railway (CP) Locomotives
CP 9000 - CP 9024 - GMD SD40-2F (DRF-30Y)
Units #9000-9024 (DRF-30y) were built by GMD, and delivered to CP Rail in 1988. These units were delivered in the CP Rail no-Multimark paint scheme, with white dots on the frame, the only new units delivered in this paint scheme. The SD40-2F units all have a full width cab and desktop style control stands. All SD40-2Fs were delivered without portholes in the front cab doors. Starting in 1993, these portholes were added to units #9000-9005, #9008-9011, #9014-9020, and #9022-9024. Units #9019 and #9022 lost their original classlights above the cab numberboards.
